We completed a full garage floor transformation for a residence in Muskegon, Michigan. We began by preparing the existing concrete surface, which included repairing structural cracks and carefully masking off the perimeter and entry steps. We then applied a multi-layer epoxy system across the entire floor and the integrated concrete stairs to create a seamless, protective barrier. For this project, we used a Basalt 1/4-inch polymer flake system to provide a textured, slip-resistant finish. We also finished the interior steps with the same flake system and installed black non-slip treads for enhanced safety at the entryway. The resulting surface offers a durable, uniform appearance that is built to withstand heavy use and simplify routine cleaning.
