We transformed this Byron Center residential garage with a professional epoxy flake floor system. The process began with extensive surface preparation, utilizing industrial floor grinders and dust-collection vacuums to ensure a clean, porous surface for maximum adhesion. We also addressed existing cracks and expansion joints with heavy-duty filler to create a uniform foundation. For the finish, we applied a durable epoxy coating featuring the Coyote FB-513-104 flake blend to provide a textured, slip-resistant surface. We extended the coating onto the concrete base molding and entry steps for a cohesive, finished look throughout the entire space. This new flooring offers a significant upgrade in durability and ease of maintenance compared to the original stained concrete.
