A Bold, Focused Office Refresh in Fairmount
This project was all about creating a space that feels intentional, energized, and ready for real work. Our crew, led by Jose S, refreshed a second floor home office with rich color and detailed preparation that completely changed the feel of the room. Interior Highlights Office Walls and Closet: The walls and large closet were fully prepped, patched, and sanded before painting. The space was then finished in Benjamin Moore Blue Note 2129-30 (eggshell), a deep, modern blue that adds focus and personality without overwhelming the room. Multiple coats were applied to achieve full, even coverage and bring out the depth of the color. Surface Preparation: Prior to painting, all walls were primed with latex primer to ensure proper adhesion and a smooth final finish. This extra step was key in achieving a rich, consistent result across the entire space. Detail Work: Switch plates, vents, and hardware were removed or protected, and all cracks and nail holes were addressed before painting. The final result feels clean, polished, and thoughtfully finished from corner to corner. Preparation and Craftsmanship This project followed Groovy Hues’ No Liquid Rule, with floors protected, furniture moved and wrapped, and all prep completed before paint ever came out. Walls were sanded using dust controlled systems, primed, and painted with multiple coats of premium Benjamin Moore products. Jose completed a final walkthrough to ensure smooth coverage, clean lines, and a space that feels complete and ready to use. ✨ This office refresh shows how bold color, paired with proper prep, can turn a single room into a space that feels purposeful and inspiring.
