A Clean Slate in Port Richmond: Soft Tones & Seamless Updates
Groovy Hues Painting recently wrapped up a beautiful interior transformation in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. Led by crew leader Marvin, this project focused on refreshing the stairwell, hallway, living room, and kitchen, with soft neutrals and deep accents that brought cohesion and calm throughout the home. Our prep process included full protection of all surfaces—red rosin paper, plastic wrapping, drop cloths, and careful taping. Plates and hardware were removed, and our Festool dustless sanding system ensured a smooth surface for paint adhesion. Every crack and nail hole was patched, and we followed our signature “no liquid rule” to keep the home clean and protected. 🎨 Colors & Finishes Used: Walls Throughout: Zurich White SW7626 (Cashmere Eggshell) – 3 full coats for even, soft brightness Ceilings: Ceiling Bright White SW7007 (Promar Flat) Accent Wall: Rockwood Jade SW2812 (Eggshell) – adding depth and contrast in the living space Beadboard at Kitchen Bar: Forestwood SW7730 (Emerald Urethane Semigloss) Trim & Window Sills: White (Emerald Urethane Semigloss) Every surface, from walls to trim and soffits, received two or more coats of premium Sherwin-Williams products. A complimentary color consultation helped guide the homeowner to a palette that feels clean, modern, and perfect for both everyday life and hosting. We wrapped with a full post-inspection walkthrough and a few final touch-ups to make sure every detail was polished. The finished home feels refreshed, cohesive, and ready for the cooler seasons ahead.
