A Colorful, Calming Interior with Soft Greens and Bold Accents

This project was all about blending bold color choices with calming tones to create a home that feels both unique and relaxing. Our crew, led by Mynor, refreshed the primary suite, additional bedrooms, and hallway with a mix of rich blues, soft greens, and warm neutrals, all balanced by crisp white trim. Interior Highlights Primary Bedroom: The walls were fully prepped, primed, and painted in Debonair SW9139 (eggshell), a rich blue that adds depth and character to the space. Select areas around the door were finished in white semigloss, creating contrast and highlighting architectural details. Ceilings were completed in Bright White SW7007 (flat) to keep the room feeling open and balanced. Trim, shelving, and framing were finished in durable white semigloss enamel. Walk In Closet: Walls were painted in Clary Sage SW6178 (eggshell), bringing a soft, calming green into the space. Ceilings were finished in Bright White SW7007, and trim and shelving were coated in white semigloss enamel for a clean, functional finish. Primary Bathroom and Toilet Room: The primary bathroom walls were finished in Clary Sage SW6178 (satin) using a moisture appropriate product, creating a spa like feel. The toilet room features Privilege Green SW6193 (eggshell), adding a slightly deeper, more playful tone. Ceilings were completed in Bright White SW7007, with trim in white semigloss enamel for durability. Back Bedroom: Walls were refreshed in Pressed Flower SW6304 (eggshell), a warm, soft tone that keeps the room feeling light and inviting. Ceilings were painted in Bright White SW7007 (flat) for consistency throughout the home. Hallway: The hallway ceiling was refreshed with Bright White SW7007, helping tie all of the surrounding rooms together and maintain a cohesive flow. Preparation and Craftsmanship This project required extensive preparation, including priming for full coverage, patching, sanding with dust controlled systems, and detailed surface protection following Groovy Hues’ No Liquid Rule. Multiple coats were applied where needed, especially with deeper colors, to ensure rich, even finishes.
