Bold Bedroom Refresh in Fishtown

Our crew, led by Jose R, transformed an upstairs bedroom in this Fishtown home with a striking color palette and meticulous attention to detail. Interior Work Walls: Prepped, primed, and finished with two coats of Sherwin-Williams Cashmere color-matched to Behr Bengal Blue M480-3U (eggshell), bringing rich color and a smooth, velvety finish to the space. Trim, Door & Shelf: Sanded, primed, and painted with three coats of Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Enamel in Race Car Stripe P170-6 (semigloss) for a sleek, durable contrast against the deep blue walls. Window Frame: Repaired, primed, and coated with two layers of the same Race Car Stripe semigloss, tying all trim and detailing together for a crisp, cohesive look. Preparation & Quality Before painting, Jose’s team followed Groovy Hues’ full interior prep process — protecting all surfaces, moving furniture to the center of the room, patching, sanding, caulking, and priming for flawless adhesion. Every surface received the proper number of coats, and daily clean-ups kept the home organized.
