Bright & Balanced Interior Refresh in South Kensington
Groovy Hues Painting recently completed an inviting and polished interior painting project in a modern Philadelphia rowhome near South Kensington and Northern Liberties. Our crew, led by Miguel, brought warmth and cohesion to this multi-room update—perfect for refreshing your space as the seasons shift. We prepped, painted, and finished walls, ceilings, doors, trim, and baseboards throughout the open-concept living room/kitchen, primary bedroom, and primary bathroom. The chosen palette paired cozy, natural tones with bright, clean finishes: Walls were coated in SW Alabaster SW7008 (eggshell) for a soft, welcoming atmosphere Trim and baseboards received a crisp finish in SW Pure White SW7005 (semigloss) using Emerald Urethane Enamel Ceilings were refreshed with SW Promar Ceiling Paint (flat) The primary bathroom walls featured a relaxing SW Ancient Marble SW6162 (satin), while ceilings and trim were kept clean in Pure White (satin & semigloss) As always, surfaces were fully prepped—sanded, patched, and caulked—with all hardware protected and furniture carefully wrapped. Each room received two full coats for long-lasting, even coverage. Daily cleanup and a final walk-through ensured everything met our high standards of craftsmanship. From cozy corners to high-traffic living spaces, this project delivered a harmonious update that feels clean, calming, and ready for everyday living.
