Detailed Interior Refresh in Warrington
Our crew, led by Josa, completed a thoughtful and detail-driven interior painting project for Don’s home in Warrington, Bucks County. This refresh focused on two high-impact spaces — the primary bathroom and the living room — blending durability with elegance to enhance the home’s comfort and style. Primary Bathroom Bathrooms require special attention due to the constant moisture and changing temperatures, so we used Benjamin Moore Aura Bath & Spa on the ceiling. This premium product is designed specifically for high-humidity spaces, providing excellent coverage with a mildew-resistant finish that will hold up beautifully over time. For the walls, we applied Sherwin-Williams Cashmere, known for its smooth application and luxurious finish. The trim, baseboards, and door frame were upgraded with Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane Enamel, adding a semi-gloss durability that not only resists wear but also provides a refined look. Every step of the process included proper prep: filling cracks, sanding glossy areas for adhesion, taping off hardware, and priming where necessary. These extra measures ensure the finish is seamless and long-lasting. Living Room The living room, with its impressive height and scale, required special care in preparation and application. The ceiling was painted with Sherwin-Williams ProMar Ceiling Paint in bright white, chosen for its excellent coverage and smooth, flat finish. This instantly refreshed the room, brightening the space and emphasizing its natural light and spaciousness. Because of the room’s size and ceiling height, our crew took extra care in setup and cleanup each day — protecting floors, securing furniture, and ensuring the space was tidy and livable even during the project. The result is a clean, airy living room ceiling that enhances the entire feel of the home. Preparation & Quality Commitment At Groovy Hues Painting, preparation is just as important as the final coat. Before any paint was applied, our crew followed our “No Liquid Rule”, protecting all surfaces with rosin paper and drop cloths, moving and covering furniture, and carefully removing switch plates and vents. Each surface was sanded, patched, and cleaned to ensure flawless adhesion. Finally, the project wrapped up with a final walkthrough led by Edy, where Don was able to review the work, ask questions, and confirm every detail.
