Full Interior Makeover in a Historic Center City Home

Groovy Hues Painting recently completed a stunning, full-scale interior painting project in the heart of Center City. This project included nearly every room of a classic multi-story home, and our talented crew—led by Edy and Mynor—worked meticulously to transform the space with layered color palettes, expert prep, and precise finishes. The client received a complimentary color consultation, which helped finalize a cohesive vision that brought new life to each floor. Across over 8,000 square feet of wall space and nearly 3,000 square feet of ceiling, our team implemented Sherwin-Williams’ premium product lines including Cashmere, Promar Ceiling Paint, Duration Home, and Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel. Every detail was considered: Hallways, stairwells, bathrooms, and bedrooms were updated with rich tones like Hunt Club SW6468, Evening Shadow SW7662, and Smokey Topaz SW6117 Ceilings were coated with Neutral Ground SW7568 and Bright White SW7007 for a fresh, clean look throughout Trim, windows, doors, and frames were painted with Extra White SW7006 in semigloss for crisp contrast Moisture-resistant paints like Duration Home Interior were used in bathrooms for lasting durability From a deep In the Navy SW9178 ceiling in the guest suite to peachy walls in the upper-floor bathroom, each room received thoughtful design touches. Protective coverings, spackling, caulking, and sanding were handled with care, including use of our Festool dustless sanding system for a clean and healthy jobsite. The finished result is a refined and elevated home that honors the property’s character while bringing in modern color, comfort, and summer-ready vibrance.
