Interior & Exterior Painting
Groovy Hues Painting was proud to complete a comprehensive painting project for The Tavern Group at their Grays Ferry location. This project included a full interior repaint of the dining area, along with detailed exterior restoration work—designed to elevate the space for patrons and staff alike. Scope of Work: Our team, led by Mynor, prepped and painted over 1,300 square feet of interior wall space and 750 square feet of ceiling inside the main dining room. Additional exterior elements such as the cornice were also scraped, primed, and painted. As always, we followed our “No Liquid Rule” for setup, protecting all surfaces and organizing daily cleanups to minimize disruption to business operations. Colors & Finishes Used: Interior Walls: Seawashed Glass SW9034 in a flat finish – a calming, ocean-inspired green that softens the space and creates a welcoming dining atmosphere Exterior Trim & Cornice: Jasper SW6216 in a satin finish – a deep, moody green that adds richness and elegance to the facade Architectural Accents: Antique Red SW7587 in a flat finish – used strategically for contrast and warmth, delivering a pop of bold color without overwhelming the overall palette Project Details: All ceilings were primed and painted with Sherwin-Williams Promar Ceiling Paint after extensive prep work Interior walls received oil-based primer for maximum adhesion and two coats of flat finish paint Chair rail and base trim were primed and painted with Emerald Urethane Enamel for a clean, durable semi-gloss finish Exterior cornice elements were fully scraped and painted to preserve and highlight the architectural detailing Final Result: This project achieved a complete refresh of a high-traffic hospitality space, combining durability with design. The new color scheme reflects The Tavern Group’s modern identity while staying timeless and inviting.
