Interior Painting Project
Groovy Hues Painting completed a full interior transformation at this spacious Fort Washington home, refreshing nearly every room with custom color palettes and premium finishes. Our team brought warmth, elegance, and personality into each space with careful prep and detailed application. Scope of Work: Our crew, led by Jose, painted over 5,000 square feet of wall space and more than 2,000 square feet of ceilings. Each surface was cleaned, patched, sanded, and caulked before applying two to three coats of paint for even, long-lasting coverage. We followed our “No Liquid Rule,” protecting all flooring and furnishings prior to setup and ensuring clean daily breakdowns and a spotless final walk-through. Paint & Colors Used: We used a curated palette of Sherwin-Williams products to reflect the client’s unique style: Steamed Milk SW7554 (walls in kitchen, foyer, hallway) Baize Green SW6429 (dining room walls) Inky Blue SW9149 (primary bedroom accent) Rambling Rose SW6305 (front bedroom) Acanthus SW0029 (back left bedroom) Tradewind SW6218 and Creamy SW7012 (family room) Whitetail SW7103 (trim, ceilings, closets, and doors throughout) Satin and matte finishes were used on walls, while all trim, baseboards, doors, frames, and shelving were completed in a semi-gloss enamel for durability and contrast.
