Interior Refresh in Graduate Hospital

Groovy Hues Painting recently completed a serene and modern interior refresh at a cozy rowhome in Graduate Hospital, one of Philadelphia’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Focused on creating lightness and polish in key living spaces, this project brought clean lines and timeless neutrals to life—perfect for everyday comfort and entertaining. Led by crew leader Miguel, our team fully prepped and painted two impactful areas: the living room with stairwell and the rear bedroom. Using Benjamin Moore’s Swiss Coffee and Simply White in multiple finishes, we transformed these rooms into welcoming, light-filled spaces that feel calm and effortless. Ceilings were finished in flat Simply White, while trim, baseboards, and door frames received semi-gloss Advance Trim for contrast and durability. The walls were coated in Ben Eggshell for a soft, smooth finish that works beautifully in both daylight and evening light. Every inch of the space was protected and prepared with care—floors were wrapped in red rosin paper, switch plates removed, hardware taped, and surfaces sanded dust-free using our Festool system. Two full coats were applied throughout, and the final walkthrough ensured every detail was just right. This small-scale project had a big impact—bringing brightness, simplicity, and flow to a stylish city home.
