Groovy Hues Painting recently completed a beautiful interior painting project at a cozy, modern rowhome near Northern Liberties and Olde Kensington. Led by crew leader Jose, this transformation brought deep tones, subtle contrast, and sophisticated finishes to a multi-room second-floor space. Our team handled prep, painting, and finishing across several connected areas including: Front Office Hallway Bathroom Primary Bedroom & Hallway Primary Bathroom 2nd Floor Hallway & Stairwell 🎨 Colors & Finishes Used: This project had a bold yet balanced color palette, anchored by cooler hues and clean whites: Sea Serpent SW7615 (eggshell) – used in the front office for a moody, creative tone Light French Grey SW0055 (satin & eggshell) – featured in multiple rooms for a soft, timeless finish Naval SW6244 (flat & eggshell) – used in the primary bedroom for dramatic depth Pure White SW7005 (semigloss, satin, flat) – applied to trim, ceilings, doors, and frames for crisp definition 🧰 Project Highlights: 2,800+ sq ft of wall space and 400+ sq ft of ceiling were prepped and painted All surfaces received 2 full coats of Sherwin-Williams products Base trim, windows, risers, and doors were painted with Pure White in semigloss, adding polish and contrast Our crew protected non-carpeted areas with red rosin paper, wrapped furniture, and ensured all switch plates and hardware were safely taped off Cracks, nail holes, and wall imperfections were patched and sanded using our Festool dustless sanding system Bathrooms were painted with moisture-resistant Duration Home Interior paint A complimentary color consultation helped the client finalize the perfect palette for her home 🧼 Finishing Touches: The project concluded with a thorough daily cleanup, a full post-job walkthrough, and any touch-ups needed to ensure total client satisfaction.
