Interior Transformation in Roxborough
Groovy Hues Painting recently completed a vibrant and detail-focused interior painting project in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia. The goal was to breathe new life into key areas of the home—bringing color, warmth, and durability into spaces that see daily use. Scope of Work: Our team provided comprehensive interior painting and preparation services, taking care to protect the client’s home every step of the way: Surface Prep & Protection: We followed our “No Liquid Rule,” carefully covering all flooring with rosin paper or drop cloths, moving furniture to the center of each room, and wrapping it in protective plastic. We removed switch plates, taped off hardware, and ensured all surfaces were properly sanded, patched, and caulked for a flawless finish. Kitchen & Cabinets: The kitchen received a top-to-bottom refresh. We painted the walls and ceiling in Dover White, refinished the baseboard radiators, and coated the floors in Coastal Plain using a durable tread plex product. Custom-painted kitchen cabinets and shelving in Tealight added a crisp, modern contrast. Pantry & Laundry Room: The adjacent pantry was painted in Tealight, offering consistency and brightness, while the laundry room made a bold statement with Cavern Clay on the walls and ceiling. This earthy, welcoming tone complemented the space and added a rich warmth. Paint & Finishes Used: We used a combination of Sherwin-Williams’ premium interior lines: Dover White SW 6385 (walls, ceilings, and trim) Tealight SW 7681 (pantry, cabinets, and trim) Cavern Clay SW 7701 (laundry room) Coastal Plain SW 6192 (floor finish in the kitchen and shelving) Finishing Touches: Led by crew member Jose, our team paid close attention to detail throughout the job. We performed a full cleanup each day and conducted a final walkthrough with the client to ensure total satisfaction. The finished result? A home that feels refreshed, updated, and uniquely personalized.
