Layered Neutrals and Thoughtful Details Throughout the Home

January 2026

This project was all about honoring the character of the home while giving each space a cleaner, brighter, and more cohesive feel. Our crew, led by Mynor, completed a multi room interior refresh using a curated palette of soft neutrals and warm creams, paired with detailed trim and specialty surfaces. Interior Highlights Primary Bedroom and Bathroom: The primary bedroom walls were painted in Albescent OC-40 (matte), a gentle neutral that feels calm and timeless. The ceiling was refreshed with a color matched ceiling paint for a seamless look. In the primary bathroom, walls and ceiling were carefully prepped and repainted to maintain continuity while using moisture appropriate products for long term durability. Trim, doors, and window frames were finished in Cotton Balls OC-122 (semigloss), adding subtle contrast and clean definition. Hallway to Primary Bedroom and Adjacent Bathroom: These transition spaces were painted in Bone White OC-143 (matte), helping the home flow naturally from room to room. Radiators, doors, and trim were also refinished in Bone White (semigloss), allowing architectural elements to blend beautifully with the walls instead of standing out harshly. Rear Foyer and Kitchen Walls: Walls in the rear foyer and select kitchen areas were refreshed in Bone White OC-143, creating a soft, welcoming backdrop that works well in both living and utility spaces. Radiators and doors were repainted to match, giving these often overlooked elements a finished, intentional look. Den with Built Ins: The den became a true standout space. Walls were painted in Philadelphia Cream HC-30 (matte), bringing warmth and character into the room. Built in bookshelves, trim, doors, and window frames were finished in Linen White OC-912 (semigloss), creating contrast while highlighting the craftsmanship of the millwork. Additional Rooms and Ceilings: Multiple ceilings throughout the home were refreshed using Promar Ceiling Paint for a clean, even finish. A front bedroom ceiling received extra prep and priming to ensure a smooth final result. Preparation and Craftsmanship Every space followed Groovy Hues’ No Liquid Rule, with full protection of floors, furniture, and surrounding areas before work began. Walls, ceilings, trim, radiators, and built ins were patched, sanded, caulked, primed, and painted with two coats of premium Sherwin-Williams products. Mynor completed a detailed walkthrough at the end of the project to ensure every surface felt smooth, cohesive, and thoughtfully finished. ✨ This project shows how layered neutrals, consistent trim colors, and attention to architectural details can refresh a home while preserving its original charm.
