Groovy Hues Painting recently completed a crisp and elegant interior update at this Fairmount-area residence. Focused on the living room and key entry details, this project blended soft warmth with deep contrast—adding a fresh look while highlighting the home’s charm. Scope of Work: Our crew, led by Miguel, prepped and painted the full living room walls, base trim, window frames, and entry door area. Using high-end Benjamin Moore and Sherwin-Williams products, every surface was sanded, caulked, and primed for optimal adhesion and a polished, lasting finish. Colors & Finishes Used: Walls: Chatsworth Cream 225 (matte finish) – a warm, neutral tone that brightens the space while maintaining a classic feel Trim & Accents: Sherwood Green HC-118 (satin finish) – applied to baseboards, window frames, and door trim for a bold, earthy contrast Window Detail Trim: Alabaster SW7008 (satin finish) – soft white detailing on inner frame trim for added depth and dimension Dining Room Side of Door: Finished in Chatsworth Cream 225 for a cohesive interior flow Project Highlights: Nearly 1,000 sq ft of wall space was painted with two coats of Benjamin Moore’s Ben line in matte finish All trim and architectural elements were hand-painted with care to preserve original character Furniture and floors were fully protected with plastic wrap and red rosin paper throughout the project Final walkthrough was conducted with the client to ensure satisfaction with all touch-ups addressed immediately Final Result: This living room now feels warm, welcoming, and timeless—blending soft neutrals with bold greens to create balance and personality. It’s a perfect example of how targeted interior updates can completely elevate a home’s feel.
