Small Exterior Details, Big Visual Impact in Bridesburg β¨π‘
This exterior refresh project in Bridesburg, Philadelphia focused on restoring several high-visibility architectural details that play a big role in the overall appearance and protection of the home. Led by crew leader Edy, the project centered around careful preparation, precision repairs, and seamless color matching. Our team began by thoroughly scraping and sanding the second-floor bump-out and sides of the cornice to remove peeling paint and failing surfaces. Exterior prep is one of the most important parts of any repaint, especially on older surfaces exposed to years of weather and temperature changes. Proper preparation helps ensure better adhesion, smoother finishes, and longer-lasting durability. After prepping the surfaces, we completed necessary spot priming on exposed areas before applying two finish coats of premium exterior paint. A detailed color match was performed to blend the newly painted sections seamlessly with the existing exterior, allowing the repairs and updates to integrate naturally without disrupting the homeβs overall look. Projects like this may focus on smaller sections of the exterior, but the impact is noticeable immediately. Refreshing architectural features like bump-outs and cornices helps sharpen curb appeal while also protecting vulnerable surfaces from future deterioration. Every edge, corner, and transition was handled carefully to maintain clean lines and a professional finish throughout the project. Another exterior restoration completed with precision, preparation, and craftsmanship πͺπ¨
