Whole-Home Interior Refresh in Mt. Airy

Our crew, led by Jose S, completed a full interior transformation in this Mt. Airy home, updating key living spaces with rich, refined finishes and flawless craftsmanship. Interior Work Kitchen: Ceilings prepped, sanded, and finished with Sherwin-Williams Promar Ceiling Paint (Bright White SW7007, flat). Walls were painted in Sherwin-Williams Cashmere (satin) for a smooth, washable finish that enhances warmth and depth in the heart of the home. Living Room: Extensive prep included skim coating and priming all walls for a perfectly even surface. The walls were then painted with Sherwin-Williams Cashmere (satin), complemented by Emerald Urethane Enamel (semigloss) on the crown molding, chair rail, and base trim. The French doors, windows, and mantle were refinished for a cohesive, polished look. Library: Ceilings and walls were fully refinished with Sherwin-Williams Promar Ceiling Paint (flat) and Cashmere (satin) for a bright yet soft finish. Built-in bookshelves, trim, and crown molding were coated with Emerald Urethane Enamel (semigloss), creating a clean contrast and durable finish throughout this classic space. Primary Bedroom: Ceilings skim coated and painted with Promar Ceiling Paint (flat). Walls were primed, prepped, and painted in Cashmere (satin), while crown molding and trim were completed in Emerald Urethane Enamel (semigloss) for a timeless, elegant feel. Preparation & Quality This project followed Groovy Hues’ comprehensive interior prep process — furniture moved and wrapped, floors fully protected, and all surfaces sanded, caulked, and primed. The crew applied two coats of premium Sherwin-Williams paints throughout, ensuring smooth, consistent coverage and lasting quality.
