To stop the rodents from entering the home we upgraded attic insualtion by extracting the old, sealing all open areas with spray foam before blowing new cellulose insulation back into the attic. We also applied closed cell spray foam to the basement rim joists. With all of these upgrades it qualified the homeowner to get a rebate check from their energy company.
