Emerald Cedar Hedge and Irrigation Installation – Enhancing a West Coast Front Yard

This project focused on enhancing an existing West Coast-inspired front yard with the addition of a lush, structured emerald cedar hedge. The hedge was selected to provide year-round privacy and visual interest, complementing the natural elements already in place—such as river rock, driftwood, and drought-tolerant plantings. To prepare the site, we removed an area of gravel and completed grading work to ensure proper drainage and a level planting surface. A new irrigation system was also installed to support the health of the hedge and surrounding landscape, ensuring efficient water delivery without compromising the low-maintenance goals of the design. The result is a cohesive, resilient front yard that blends privacy, beauty, and ecological function while staying true to the West Coast aesthetic.
