Residential Roofing Installation using Malarkey Secure Choice Roof System

The attic space of this home has suffered from improper attic ventilation since built 23 years ago. We installed additional soffit intake air vents at the lowest points of roof line around the whole house, deleted all improper exhaust vents, and installed new turbine exhaust ventilation at the highest points of roof that is balanced with the intake air. The entire attic space now has proper air flow to reduce humidity and effectively reduce the attic temperature. These modification during the roof replacement process will provide a more comfortable living space and reduce the amount of run time the air conditioning system requires by no longer having to fight the infiltration of heat from the attic space. The Malarkey Secure Choice Roof System utilizing Malarkey VISTA AR shingles provides Class 4 impact resistance for protection from hail storms. This is a very durable new roof that will stand up to the severe weather in the DFW area.
