The loss affected the first‑floor living space and the crawl space below, requiring immediate emergency water extraction and extensive demolition due to widespread saturation and structural impact. During mitigation, significant mold growth was discovered, prompting full mold remediation, detailed cleaning, and antimicrobial treatment. Because the water transmission reached the mechanical systems, the furnace and entire HVAC air distribution system were damaged and removed. To support proper structural drying, temporary secondary heating systems were installed on both levels of the home, allowing us to stabilize the environment and bring all building materials back to safe moisture levels. This project showcases our ability to manage complex water damage, mold remediation, and mechanical system impacts—restoring safety, stability, and indoor air quality for Delaware homeowners.
