3D landscape design for a front and backyard in Green Springs Valley, San Antonio, TX. DESIGN GOALS: The goal was a low-maintenance, water-wise landscape that makes better use of the yard under mature oak trees: clear walkways, a comfortable place to gather, a lawn that stays green, and a polished front entry with strong curb appeal. WHAT THE DESIGN INCLUDES: Our design team produced detailed 2D landscape plans and daytime, nighttime and aerial 3D renders of the whole property. The concept features curving stepping-stone paths and crushed granite walkways, flowing artificial turf lawns with clean edging, a fire pit lounge with seating, layered drought-tolerant planting beds, a covered deck with a louvered pergola, and landscape lighting that highlights trees, paths and plants after dark. The front yard adds a curved walkway, turf and xeriscape beds.
