This customer reached out wanting to give their existing patio a much-needed refresh without starting completely from scratch. During our assessment, we carefully evaluated the condition of the flagstone, checked for uneven areas, and determined how we could bring the space back to life using the materials already in place. We began the process with a full demo and cleanup to remove any shifting stones and old fill material. From there, our team re-leveled the surface to create a stable and even foundation. Once the base was ready, we installed a Belgard 4x8 Holland border to frame the patio and tie everything together with a clean, defined edge. To complement the natural tones of the flagstone, we incorporated Shadow Rock into the design, using it to fill the joints and accent the color variation across the stonework. The result is a cohesive blend of textures and tones that enhances the home’s outdoor aesthetic while maintaining a natural, timeless feel. Whether it’s a full rebuild or a simple refresh, we take pride in transforming existing spaces into outdoor areas that look brand-new — all while preserving the character that made them special in the first place.
