We recently completed a project for a customer who wanted to make better use of their backyard space. The journey began with a free consultation, where we took the time to understand their vision, took measurements, and broke down our process to ensure we could accomplish exactly what they were looking for. The customer envisioned an extended patio area to create a more functional outdoor space, ideal for placing furniture and enjoying evenings outdoors. To kick off the project, we began by prepping the area thoroughly, adding a weed barrier to prevent any future weed growth that could damage the patio and affect its longevity. This step was essential to ensuring the patio would remain in great condition for years to come. We then used our Belgard pavers to create a unique, stylish design, incorporating a border with 4x8 Hollands pavers for added definition and an elegant finish. Pavers are not only visually appealing but also offer numerous benefits. They are incredibly durable and resistant to cracking, which makes them perfect for areas that experience frequent use, like patios. Pavers also allow for excellent drainage, preventing water from pooling on the surface and ensuring that the patio remains dry and safe even after a rain. Additionally, they are easy to maintain and can be replaced individually if needed, unlike concrete or other surfaces that might require a full replacement if damaged. With the new patio extension, the possibilities for the space are limitless. The customer now has ample room for outdoor furniture, a pergola for some shade, or even the installation of an outdoor kitchen for hosting gatherings. The expanded space has truly transformed their backyard into a more versatile and enjoyable area for relaxing and entertaining.
