After moving back into one of his properties, our client wanted a complete backyard refresh — something clean, functional, and built to last. He reached out for a free quote after seeing our work online and reading our outstanding 5-star Google reviews, and we were excited to bring his vision to life. The backyard had been resodded multiple times, but the grass never survived. After a walkthrough, we offered an alternative solution: premium artificial turf. Once we learned our client was an avid golfer, we suggested taking it a step further — adding an integrated putting green, just like we did for one of our previous customers. During our inspection, we discovered the property had major drainage issues, so our design-build team created a plan to fix the problem while preserving the landscape. We began with a full demo and leveling process, grading the yard carefully with water flow in mind. Next, we plumbed all the gutters to redirect water exactly where we wanted it, ensuring long-term protection for the new landscape. Once the groundwork was set, we installed a weed barrier, then began forming the chop-stone borders, tree ring, and 2x2 stepping pavers set in concrete for lasting stability. Along the fence line, we added a blend of Laredo and Shadow Rock, creating a striking visual contrast that complements the new pavers. With the base compacted and shaped, we custom-molded the putting green and laid our premium turf with precision. To elevate the design, we used white artificial turf to mimic a sand bunker, giving the green an authentic, golf-course-inspired finish. On the right side of the property, we installed crushed limestone to assist with drainage and prep the area for a future shed. Now, our customer can enjoy a low-maintenance backyard that stays green year-round, with a personal putting green and proper drainage that will keep everything looking pristine for years to come.
