Artificial turf and stepping paver front yard enhancement in Gruene, New Braunfels, TX. THE CHALLENGE: The front yard needed a durable, low-maintenance lawn that stays green under a mature shade tree, a clear path to the front door and clean separation between turf and rock beds. WHAT WE DID: We prepped and graded the front yard and installed 775 sq ft of Playscape 110 artificial turf right up to the base of the tree. About 50 ft of cream chop block was set along the driveway and street edges to hold the turf and rock beds, the beds were filled with 1 inch washed granite, and five 23x23 inch cream stepping pavers make a walkway to the entry. THE RESULT: An always-green lawn with no mowing or heavy watering, a crisp stone border and an easy path to the door. Scope: artificial turf installation, chop block border, stepping pavers, washed granite beds, grading and site prep.
