Kinder Ranch, San Antonio Tx.
This project came about when a customer noticed us working on their neighbor’s home and was impressed by both our design and craftsmanship. They decided to give us a call, and after our free consultation, we put together a plan that would not only expand their usable space but also elevate the look of their home. The main focus was expanding the driveway on both sides, extending it all the way to the fence line and front door entrance. We began with a proper dig out, leveling, and installation of a weed barrier, compacted base, and sand layer before laying the pavers. To give the entrance a unique touch, we designed a curved paver layout that flows beautifully to the steps of the home’s entrance. On the side of the home, we extended the pavers all the way to the back, creating a clean pathway to the trash can storage area for easy access and transportation. In the backyard, the customer had issues with grass not growing due to heavy foot traffic. To solve this, we installed a stepping paver pathway set on concrete to ensure long-term stability. We then filled in the surrounding areas with a blend of river rock and shadow rock on both sides of the property, tying everything together for a cohesive look. To highlight the backyard flower bed, we installed a limestone chop block border set on concrete with mortared joints. This not only gave the space definition but also created a clean separation from the rest of the yard. Pavers were the perfect choice for this project. Whether it’s for a driveway, sidewalk, or patio extension, pavers are known for their strength, wide variety of color options, and long-lasting durability. Unlike concrete, individual pavers can be replaced if damaged, which makes them a practical and stylish solution. At Hole In One Lawns, we’re proud to create designs that are both functional and beautiful. What started as admiration from a neighbor turned into another project we’re proud to stand behind—because we don’t just build landscapes, we build lasting impressions.
