Front and backyard design and build with Belgard and Holland paver walkways and patio, pet turf and rock borders in Mustang Oaks, San Antonio, TX. THE CHALLENGE: The backyard lawn under mature trees took constant watering and mowing, the side yards were bare, and there were no clean walkways connecting the driveway, deck and backyard. WHAT WE DID: Working from our 3D design, we built a 196 sq ft Belgard paver walkway to the patio beside the deck with a Holland Suede border, a 144 sq ft circular paver patio next to the deck and a 110 sq ft driveway extension in Holland Fossil Beige with a charcoal border, then sealed all paver areas with Trident Hurricane Cat 5. About 220 ft of cream 4x6 chopped limestone border on concrete defines the beds. Eight 2x2 concrete stepping pavers lead down the left side, the fence lines got 1/2 inch washed granite, Laredo river rock and Texas Blend river rock over weed barrier, and 1,725 sq ft of pet turf with Envirofill odor control replaced the lawn. We also repaired and rerouted the irrigation and wrapped the existing deck in TimberTech composite skirting. THE RESULT: A pet-friendly, low-maintenance yard with clean walkways, more parking and a polished outdoor living space. See the 3D design in our other Mustang Oaks showcase. Scope: paver walkways, circular paver patio, driveway extension, paver sealing, chopped limestone border, stepping pavers, washed granite, river rock, pet turf, irrigation repair, composite deck skirting, 3D design.
