Belgard paver driveway extension, paver walkways, artificial turf and landscape lighting in The Highlands, San Antonio, TX. THE CHALLENGE: The homeowners needed more parking and entry space, a clean walkway down the side of the home, low-maintenance beds and lighting to show it all off at night. WHAT WE DID: Working from our 3D design and with HOA approval, the crew removed grass, excavated and installed 205 sq ft of Belgard Dimensions 12 pavers in Danville Beige with a Holland 4x8 Suede accent border for the front walkway and driveway extensions, with 5/8 inch Texas Blend shadow rock between pavers. Thirty-five 2x2 concrete step pads set in concrete make the right-side walkway. We added 94 ft of 4x6 chopped limestone border on a concrete footing, 10 yards of 1-4 inch Texas Blend river rock along the back fence, foundation and side yard, 120 sq ft of artificial turf in the backyard, and lantana and yucca plantings. A Wi-Fi smart 3-zone transformer runs 8 LED uplights on the front beds, trees and back fence line, plus 3 LED path lights along the paver walkway. THE RESULT: More parking, a polished entry, easy side-yard access and a landscape that glows after dark. See the 3D design in our other Highlands showcase. Scope: Belgard pavers, driveway extension, concrete step pads, chop block border, river rock and shadow rock, artificial turf, planting, LED landscape lighting, 3D design.
