(From Ordinary to Extraordinary.) This project truly showcases the power of thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship. After our free consultation, we collaborated closely with our customer to create a stunning tiered landscape design that not only complemented the yard's natural grade but also delivered both functionality and beauty. (The Design.) To address the yard's slope, we crafted a 3-layer tier system with drought-tolerant plants, carefully selected to thrive in the environment, and finished the beds with rick brown mulch for contrast. The highest layer became a showpiece with a leveled paver pathway extending from the entrance to the side of the house. This pathway enhanced safety and added elegance, lined with rock for a clean and cohesive look. At the center of this tier, we installed a custom water feature, powered by new electrical wiring we ran for the project. Surrounding this feature, we planted one of our favorite trees the Little Gem Magnolia, a cold hardy gem that stands out as a graceful centerpiece. (Safety Meets Modern Elegance.) The original steps on the property were not only cracking but shockingly filled with trash, leftover brick, and scrap metal instead of rebar. We replaced them entirely with modern, sturdy concrete steps designed for durability and aesthetics. A dark gray stain was applied for a uniform finish that also enhanced slip resistance. To further improve safety, we removed the old, deteriorated railings and installed brand new aluminum railings along all steps. (Enhanced Functionality.) On the right side of the property, we tackled a steep driveway incline by adding a much needed driveway extension with a step for improved accessibility and safety. A custom paver pathway, designed with Belgard pavers now provides a seamless and stylish way to transport trash and recycling bins to the front of the property.
