For this project, our customer wanted more than just a backyard renovation — they wanted to feel like they had stepped into the heart of Tuscany. The goal was to create a relaxing, social-friendly setting that felt both timeless and modern — perfect for evening gatherings, quiet moments, or entertaining guests. From Dream to Design: During our initial consultation, we listened closely to the client's inspiration and suggested the perfect blend of natural textures and modern elements. To capture the look and feel of Tuscany while ensuring long-term durability, we recommended a unique 2x2 paver and artificial turf pattern as the focal design. Our olive blend turf brought a bright yet natural pop of color that complemented the pavers beautifully. The Transformation: We started by demolishing the old concrete patio and installing a complete drainage system to protect the new layout. Then we carefully leveled the ground and laid down a fully compacted base to ensure a strong foundation. To prevent shifting over time, we set the 2x2 pavers in concrete — giving the pattern lasting strength and structure. In key water-flow areas, we used limestone accents between pavers, adding both functionality and character. For the outdoor kitchen, we elevated the design by installing Belgard Dimension 12 pavers paired with a 4x8 Holland border — a clean, modern finish that provided contrast and polish.
