Trex composite front walkway deck in Wilderness Oak, San Antonio, TX. THE CHALLENGE: The walk from the driveway to the front door was the first thing guests saw, and it needed a warmer, more finished look that would not need staining or sealing. WHAT WE DID: Hole In One Lawns, a Trex Pro builder, framed a low-profile 52 sq ft deck walkway from the driveway to the front entrance on pressure-treated framing, then finished it in Trex Toasted Sand with a Cinnamon Cove accent board and picture-frame border, installed with hidden fasteners for a clean surface. The front walkway was part of a larger design-build project at this home. THE RESULT: A warm, wood-look entry that resists fading, rot and splinters and never needs sanding or staining. Scope: Trex composite walkway deck, pressure-treated framing, picture-frame border, accent boards, hidden fasteners.
