Wortham Oaks, San Antonio
We recently completed a full renovation of our customer's front and backyard, transforming the space into a functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor area. The process began with a free consultation, where we carefully listened to our customer's vision for their property and took the time to address several underlying hazards we noticed to ensure a safe and practical design. In the front yard, we removed the outdated border and replaced it with our beautiful limestone chop block border, filling in the space with two different sizes of shadow rock to create a visually striking contrast. We also trimmed back low-hanging tree branches that could pose a hazard for people walking around the property. On the left side, we removed the existing mud and replaced it with crushed limestone, finishing it off with a composite border. On the right side of the home, we installed Belgard pavers to create a smooth, attractive walkway, providing easy access for transporting trash cans. This walkway transitions seamlessly into a pathway leading to the backyard, marked with different pavers to guide the way. To make the property more accessible, we added a second gate on the right side in addition to the existing gate on the left. In the backyard, the pavers continue around the house, leading to the patio area where we installed sleek aluminum railings and a step for safe and easy access. The centerpiece of the backyard was the installation of artificial turf, creating a lush and low-maintenance lawn. We also plumbed the gutter system to route water away from the house, protecting the landscape from water damage and ensuring the long-term health of the plants. Overall, this project not only enhanced the beauty of our customer's property but also improved its functionality, safety, durability and saving our customer money on the water bill.
