We started this project the same way we begin all of our jobs — with a free consultation. Our team met with the homeowner to assess the property for potential issues, including areas with poor drainage, uneven grading, and spots where grass simply wouldn’t grow due to ongoing water restrictions. After evaluating the space, we designed a full front yard transformation focused on both function and aesthetics. We began by installing our popular double-sided paver driveway extension, giving the homeowner plenty of extra room for their large vehicles and enhancing the overall curb appeal of the home. Pavers were chosen over concrete because they’re stronger, longer-lasting, and easier to maintain or repair if ever needed. Since maintaining a natural lawn wasn’t practical, we replaced it with high-quality artificial turf for a lush, green look year-round without the water or upkeep. To ensure longevity, we also installed a proper drainage system beneath the turf, preventing water buildup and preserving the base structure for years to come. Every turf installation we do comes with a manufacturer’s warranty, giving our customers peace of mind and lasting value. To tie the design together, we built a chop stone border around the flower beds and filled them with a combination of Laredo rock and Shadow rock to create the look of a natural dry creek river bed. This not only improves drainage but also adds texture and visual depth to the landscape. On the side of the home—where grass struggled to grow—we continued the Laredo rock for a clean hardscape finish and extended the chop stone border to provide contrast and separation between the artificial turf and the neighbor’s property. By combining pavers, turf, chop stone, and decorative rock, this project delivered the perfect mix of durability, style, and low maintenance—creating a beautiful, functional outdoor space built to last.
