Cedar privacy fence and gate installation in Wortham Oaks, San Antonio, TX. THE CHALLENGE: The side and back of this brick home needed a durable, good-looking privacy fence with gates the family could use every day. WHAT WE DID: Our crew built a new cedar privacy fence just inside the property line with 6-inch cedar pickets on three rails and posts set in concrete, finished with a cedar cap and trim board for a clean top edge. We hung cedar gates with reinforced framing and black hinges and latches, tied the fence neatly into the brick, and finished the new cedar with stain to protect it. THE RESULT: A sturdy, private side yard with the warm look of real cedar and a polished, finished edge that complements the home. Scope: cedar privacy fence, cedar gates, cap and trim, posts in concrete, fence staining, side yard fencing.
