Air Sealed and Insulated Attic using TruSoft Cellulose insulation

This townhouse suffered from cold drafts and high energy bills and had a severe attic mold problem. The inspection discovered that the home was leaking air into the attic and there was a lack of attic ventilation. They removed all of the old ineffective fiberglass insulation, remediated the attic mold, air sealed the attic deck, corrected the ventilation and finally blew in TruSoft Cellulose insulation to R60. The floors of the townhome were cold in the winter and the inspection found a vented crawl space. The production crew removed the ineffective fiberglass batts and then began the encapsulation process. The closed off and insulated the vents, insulated the block walls with SilverGlo insulation board and then installed the CleanSpace vapor barrier. The end result was remarkable!
