We completed a comprehensive attic remediation and insulation project to improve this home’s efficiency. Our team began by removing old, contaminated fiberglass batts and clearing out debris that had accumulated over time. We then performed extensive air sealing using expanding spray foam to close gaps around electrical penetrations and top plates, preventing conditioned air from escaping into the attic space. To ensure long-term performance, we installed rafter vents to maintain proper airflow and laid down new OSB subflooring to create a stable, functional platform. We utilized high-efficiency insulation materials and addressed areas of staining on the structural framing to ensure a clean environment. This upgrade significantly strengthens the building envelope and will help the homeowners maintain more consistent indoor temperatures throughout the year.
