Storm Restoration Reroof: 25 Year 3-Tab Shingle

In April of 2023 a member of this church contacted our office with concerns about potential wind damage on the church roof from a storm that had passed through the area the month before. One of our reps was sent out to inspect the roof and did find substantial wind damage. An annotated damage assessment report with our findings was emailed to the church, a claim was filed, and subsequently approved after a field adjuster came out and verified our findings. During the installation process we uncovered additional layers of shingles on one slope. Instead of extending the cost of the additional tear-off labor to the church, we worked with their adjuster to get the extra labor supplemented. We installed a 25 year 3-tab shingle (XT25) manufactured by CertainTeed, and now the church has a new roof and a 5 year Workmanship Warranty.
