We completed a full air duct and dryer vent repair at a residence in Clermont. During our inspection, we identified significant dust and suspect growth accumulation inside the air handler unit. Using our high-powered vacuum truck, we removed the majority of debris, restoring clean airflow throughout the system. Before-and-after photos clearly demonstrate the effectiveness of our equipment. To ensure optimal suction and protect the home during service, we sealed off vents as needed. This step also helped contain dust and maintain a clean environment throughout the process. While in the attic, we discovered the dryer vent pipe had fully disconnected from the roof. We reattached it using a plate and collar, then sealed the connection with mastic to ensure long-term durability and prevent future separation. Additionally, we sanitized the air handler unit using Decon 30 to help reduce microbial presence and improve indoor air quality. For best results, we recommend servicing air ducts every three years. Routine maintenance enhances airflow, supports healthier indoor environments, and helps prevent dust buildup.
