Boot Repair, Air Duct and Dryer Vent Cleaning in Clermont

We performed a thorough cleaning of the air ducts and dryer vent in this Clermont home, which exhibited a significant accumulation of dust and debris. During our inspection, we identified suspect microbial growth in four of the vent boots. These areas were cleaned, then sealed with tape and mastic to ensure a secure and hygienic finish. To maximize suction during the cleaning process and protect the interior of the home, we temporarily taped or blocked the vents. Our high-powered vacuum trucks effectively removed the built-up contaminants, as shown in the before-and-after photos. Following the cleaning, we applied a sanitizing fog throughout the system to further enhance indoor air quality. As is common in many Florida homes, the dryer vent in this property was routed through the roof. We discovered a substantial lint buildup at the rooftop termination point—highlighting the importance of annual dryer vent maintenance to ensure proper airflow and reduce fire risk. Additionally, we discovered that the main duct in the attic had become disconnected. This repair falls within our scope of services, but the customer elected to address it on their own.
