Commercial Air Duct Cleaning in Tavares
We completed a commercial air duct cleaning at in Tavares. This building contained eight air handler (AHU) systems, all classified as residential units operating in a commercial environment. These systems are included in the scope of work for comprehensive cleaning. To ensure timely completion, we deployed two crews equipped with two power vacuum trucks. The project was scheduled for a two-day duration. Each vacuum truck was connected to the AHUs to generate up to 16,000 CFM of negative suction. Agitation whips—flexible rubber hoses that blow air and flap within the ductwork—were used to dislodge dust and debris from all supply vents, return vents, and main trunk lines. All loosened debris was drawn back to the trucks. Only suction and air agitation was used; brushes are excluded due to the presence of flexible ductwork, which requires a gentler approach. Our equipment and training are specifically suited for cleaning various duct types, including flex duct. All ceiling register covers were removed and thoroughly washed. Surrounding ceiling areas was also cleaned to remove any accumulated dirt. Each AHU was cleaned internally, including fans, drains, wiring, and coils, ensuring optimal system hygiene and performance. To eliminate microbial growth, all systems were fogged and sanitized using Benefect Decon 30—a food-grade disinfectant. We do not use harsh chemicals in any part of our process. The entire cleaning procedure was documented with photos and video, capturing before, during, and after stages for full transparency and quality assurance.
