During a scheduled dryer vent cleaning at a residence in Clermont, we discovered that the attic section of the dryer vent pipe had become disconnected. To restore proper function, we installed a support plate and sealed the connection using mastic. The vent line leading to the roof contained a substantial buildup of lint, which can significantly restrict airflow and increase the risk of fire. Because most Florida homes vent their dryers through the roof, we recommend annual dryer vent servicing to maintain optimal drying performance and ensure safety.
