Air Duct & Air Handler Cleaning — Clermont
We inspected the air-handler blower and coil compartments, lined ductboard passages, flexible branches and ceiling boots. Visible findings include rust at a coil support and persistent white overspray on several lined boot and plenum surfaces. We connected HVAC vacuum collection, protected the indoor hose route and staged removed blower and grille components outside for service. Negative suction draws loosened contaminants toward collection and helps contain dust; the truck supports sustained collection airflow outside the occupied area. Later views document the blower installed in the cabinet and accessible duct passages after component service. Adhered white overspray and surface discoloration remain visible and are recorded separately from loose dust. This draft documents the inspected condition, collection setup, component access and later views. A final closed-panel/access-restoration view and clearer matched cleanliness comparison are still needed to complete the photographic closeout. Additional close-ups show corrosion on electrical terminals and mounting/support surfaces. These conditions warrant evaluation by a qualified HVAC technician; an electrical repair is not documented. Irregular clustered dark spotting on accessible air-handler compartment and assembly surfaces supports a concern for suspect microbial growth, not confirmed mold. Further evaluation and checking contributing moisture conditions are appropriate. These findings remain separate from the documented component service, and the photographs do not establish that corrosion or the suspect deposits were corrected.
