We inspected the dryer transition duct and found thick lint lodged along its corrugations and inside the exhaust passage. Our technician accessed the recessed wall connection and used mechanical agitation to loosen buildup, with removed lint documented during service. Disconnecting the transition duct provides access to material hidden behind the appliance. Removing lint reduces exhaust restriction and combustible buildup while helping warm, moisture-laden air travel outdoors. These photographs document the inspection, cleaning process and lint removed.
