We completed an exterior siding update on this residential home in Pittsburgh, focusing on the upper gable sections. Our team installed natural cedar shake shingles to replace the older facade, creating a distinct texture that contrasts with the lower brick level. We also integrated new ventilation louvers and updated the trim around the multi-pane windows. The project utilized natural wood shingle siding paired with dark grey shingle accents on the lower pent roofs. We ensured all transitions between the new wood shakes and the existing masonry were properly sealed and flashed for long-term weather protection. This combination of materials provides a durable and refreshed exterior that maintains the traditional character of the home.
