Park City | Vinyl to Hardie Conversion | Mountain Sage & Cobblestone
Massive whole-house exterior modernization and material upgrade in Park City. For this extensive project (~2,738 sq ft), we executed a complete tear-off of the home's aging vinyl siding to build a highly durable, weather-resistant, and energy-efficient fiber cement envelope. Maximum Energy Efficiency: Prior to siding installation, we drastically improved the home's thermal performance by wrapping all exterior walls in premium Low-E insulated house wrap. Premium Primary Siding: Upgraded the primary elevations utilizing robust James Hardie Cedarmill Lap Siding with a classic 7-inch reveal. Mountain Modern Aesthetic: Designed to complement the surrounding landscape, the main siding was finished in the earthy "Mountain Sage" ColorPlus tone. We framed the home beautifully by utilizing wide 8" and 12" rustic trim boards in the contrasting, warm "Cobblestone" finish. Complete Roofline Update: Modernized the upper perimeter by supplying and installing Endurance solid aluminum soffits across the main roof (~240 sq ft) and the porch (~106 sq ft). We finalized the roofline by wrapping ~383 linear feet of fascia trim in a crisp, bright "White". Advanced Weatherization: Protected the newly exposed structural envelope following the vinyl demolition by conducting a full sheathing inspection, applying standard building paper, and integrating proper window and door flashings.
