Salt Lake City | Wood Demo & Vinyl Upgrade | Nautica & White
Complete exterior modernization and material conversion in Salt Lake City. For this extensive project (~1,561 sq ft), we focused on removing the home's aging wood siding to deliver a highly durable, weather-resistant, and visually striking vinyl envelope. Heavy Demolition: Executed a full tear-off of the existing wood siding across the primary elevations, allowing for a thorough inspection of the underlying sheathing. Premium Primary Siding: Upgraded the exterior utilizing robust HeartTech Double 4" Dutchlap Vinyl Siding for lasting wind and weather resistance. Bold High-Contrast Palette: Delivered a stunning modern aesthetic by finishing the main body in the deep "Nautica" tone. We framed the rich blue perfectly by sourcing all 4" universal corner posts, J-channels, finish trims, and two new 18"x24" rectangular gable vents in a crisp "White" finish. Advanced Weatherization: Fully protected the newly exposed structural envelope following the demolition. We wrapped the home in Tyvek HomeWrap, secured it with Tyvek tape, and sealed all critical moisture points using premium Grace VYCOR Plus self-adhered flashing.
