Sandy | Targeted Cedar-to-Hardie Replacement | Primed Finish
Precision exterior restoration and structural repair. We executed a targeted demolition of aging cedar siding across a 192-square-foot section, upgrading the structural integrity and installing premium fiber cement perfectly prepped for custom painting. Structural Update: Removed the compromised exterior and installed completely new structural sheathing (~192 sq ft) to provide a solid, secure foundation for the new siding. Primary Siding: Installed James Hardie Plank Cedarmill Lap Siding with a classic 7-inch reveal, mimicking the natural texture of the removed cedar while offering superior durability. Paint-Ready Finish: Utilized "Primed (NOT PAINTED)" fiber cement planks and rustic trim boards around the window, leaving the surface perfectly prepped for the homeowner to apply a custom color match to the rest of the property. Custom Detailing: Enhanced the facade by executing a custom James Hardie primed wrap around the garage and seamlessly integrating exterior fixtures using premium Raindog mounting blocks. Weatherization: Ensured absolute moisture protection over the new sheathing by applying Tyvek building paper and completely sealing the system with new flashings.
