Precision exterior chimney upgrade and targeted modernization in West Jordan. For this project (~165 sq ft), we focused on tearing off the failing aluminum siding on all three sides of the home's chimney to upgrade the structure with highly durable, weather-resistant vinyl. Targeted Demolition: Carefully removed the outdated aluminum siding specifically around the chimney structure, allowing our team to thoroughly inspect the underlying sheathing. Premium Siding Base: Upgraded the chimney utilizing high-quality Mastic Carvedwood-44 Double 4-1/2" Dutchlap Vinyl Siding to ensure maximum wind and weather resistance in a highly exposed area. Flawless Color Integration: Executed a clean, modern aesthetic by sourcing the siding panels, 5/8" J-Channels, and 4" universal outside corner posts in the sleek "Silver Grey" finish. Advanced Weatherization: Fully protected the underlying chimney structure by applying Tyvek building paper, installing custom white 2X1X2 flashing, and setting up new mounting blocks prior to the final siding application.
